soulsavors – unbalanced pieces
Seems that I’ve had a dry spell in finding fresh toonage. I downloaded the soulsavors new album the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Sure, it’s dark and mostly depressing, but it’s some damn fine music. Makes for a good rainy day… every day in blacksburg.
ADULT. – Dance Avoid
Long before Ladytron was making (electroclash? new wave?) music, ADULT. was creating quirkier and more menacing music. This track is an excerpt from their 2008 single “Let’s Feel Bad Together”.
Deaf Center – New Beginning (Tidal Darkness)
Piano and strings make this track more interesting than your average drone/ambient piece. Fans of Helios would probably enjoy it.
